Privacy, clearly explained.
A transparent overview of the data behind accounts, live monitoring, community features and cookies on CS2Monitor.
Last updated: June 21, 2026Our privacy approach
CS2Monitor.eu processes only the information needed to operate the monitoring platform, community features, accounts and security. We do not sell personal data. This page explains what is processed, why, and the choices available to you.
Information we process
The information depends on how you use the platform. Browsing without an account requires less data than creating a profile or using an external login provider.
- Account and identity: username, email where provided, public Steam or Discord identifiers, avatar and profile settings.
- Technical information: IP address, user agent, session identifier, timestamps and security-related request information.
- Activity and content: pages viewed, forum posts, messages, server submissions, searches, downloads and marketplace activity.
- Game monitoring: public server and player information returned by game-server queries.
Why we use information
We process information to provide requested services, protect the platform and maintain a useful community.
- Operate accounts, secure sessions and remember requested preferences.
- Display server monitoring, rankings, player statistics and community content.
- Prevent abuse, spam, fraud and attacks, and diagnose technical problems.
- Process promotions and integrations that you deliberately choose to use.
Online status and retention
Registered users may appear online together with the section they are viewing. Guest IP and browser information may be recorded internally for live visitor counts, security and abuse prevention. The live online list uses a short activity window, while underlying security, account and statistical records may be kept longer when needed for the service or legal obligations.
External services
External services receive information only when required for the selected feature. Steam and Discord authentication return public account identifiers and profile information; we never receive those services’ passwords. PayPal processes payment details under its own privacy terms. Embedded or linked third-party content may be governed by the provider’s policy.
Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction or deletion of your account data, object to certain processing, or withdraw optional cookie consent. Some records may need to be retained for security, dispute resolution or legal compliance.
- Change optional cookie choices at any time.
- Update profile information from your account settings.
- Contact us to request access, correction or account deletion.
Contact and updates
For privacy questions or requests, contact the CS2Monitor team through our official Discord community. We may update this notice when the platform or legal requirements change; the current revision date is shown above.
